With electric guitar icons such as the Fender Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jazzmaster, Jazz bass, precision bass and many more, Leo Fender unknowingly changed the course of musical history. Guitar icons such as David Gilmour of Pink Floyd famously uses a Fender Stratocaster. Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock festival famously set fire to his Fender Stratocaster guitar which subsequently ended up in the hands of musical genius Frank Zappa. Having such an iconic brand also has its challenges. With the changing musical scenes across the ages, Fender has had to come up with more innovative ideas from their initial conception. I mean, how many times can you re invent the Stratocaster? Well, luckily for Fender, their instruments have been welcomed in all musical genres, with different incarnations of the models being loaded with different pickups, tremolos and neck diameters to cater for the ever growing demanding needs of the musician.
