The PRS Dustie Waring CE Hardtail CC is a high-performance electric guitar designed for the modern player who demands speed, precision, and tone. The guitar features a solid mahogany body with a carved maple top and a stunning custom finish. The neck is made from maple and features a comfortable pattern thin profile, with a sleek ebony fingerboard and 24 frets.
The guitar is equipped with two Mojotone DW Tomahawk pickups, which offer a wide range of tonal possibilities. These pickups were designed in collaboration with Dustie Waring, the guitarist of the band Between the Buried and Me, and are voiced to provide a tight and focused low-end, clear and articulate midrange, and smooth and singing highs. The pickups are controlled by a volume and tone knob, as well as a 3-way toggle switch.
The PRS Dustie Waring CE Hardtail CC also features a hardtail bridge, which provides excellent tuning stability and sustain. The hardware is finished in a sleek black chrome, giving the guitar a modern and stylish look. Other features include PRS locking tuners, a bone nut, and a custom-designed truss rod cover.
