MARSHALL AMPS - THE FATHER OF LOUD

Marshall amplification burst onto the scene in 1962 from their small music shop in London. Jim Marshall, the founder of Marshall amps was a drummer and an engineer. In the 1950's Jim Marshall taught drummers including Mitch Mitchell of the Jimi Hendrix Experience. 

In 1960 Jim Marshall had a fairly successful music store in West London with some of his customers including Richie Blackmore and Pete Townsend.
