Ibanez JS2GD Joe Satriani Signature Gold Boy
The Joe Satriani Gold Boy from Ibanez is the only logical progression after his infamous Chrome Boy guitars. Made in Japan by FujiGen, the JS2GD's striking gold finish is adorned with gold DiMarzio pickups, gold hardware and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Even the Edge double locking tremolo bridge has been given the Midas touch.
Featuring a FRED humbucker in the bridge and single-coil sized Satch Tracks in the middle and neck positions, this model is full of Satch mojo and is the first production JS model since 1993 to feature a middle pickup. Controls consist of a master volume with push/pull hi-pass filter, a master tone with push/pull coil-split for the bridge pickup, and individual toggles for each pickup.
