Mastery M4.1 Telecaster bridge, (Used)
The Mastery M4.1 Telecaster bridge is a high-precision replacement bridge designed for vintage-style Telecasters with a 4-screw ashtray footprint, specifically when used with a Bigsby B5 vibrato system or similar setups. It uses a rigid stainless steel baseplate and engineered saddle system intended to improve string stability and reduce friction compared with traditional bent-steel or brass Tele bridges.
The key design feature is its hard chrome–plated brass saddles, which are shaped to let strings glide smoothly across the contact point while maintaining consistent break angle and spacing. The bridge baseplate is machined from stainless steel with a low-friction surface geometry that eliminates sharp edges and reduces string binding during vibrato use or aggressive bending.
The M4.1 is built for vintage Tele routing only (standard 4-hole mount) and is not compatible with American Standard-style plate layouts. It is engineered specifically to improve tuning stability, sustain consistency, and string movement behaviour in Telecaster setups that experience extra lateral string motion from a Bigsby system or heavy playing dynamics.
