Combining two distinctive drive circuits, the "Vintage" and "B3K," the Microtubes 900v2 mix between the two to craft everything from subtle warmth to intense, growling distortion. The onboard 6-band graphic EQ allows players to precisely shape their sound, tailoring each frequency to sit perfectly in the mix. The amp also includes a "Mute" switch and a "Master" knob for quick adjustments, making it both flexible and user-friendly on stage and in the studio.

Beyond tone shaping, the Microtubes 900v2 includes several connectivity options to suit any setup. It features an XLR output with pre/post EQ selection, an effects loop, a headphone output, and an auxiliary input for practice. The USB port connects to the Darkglass Suite software, enabling customization and firmware updates. The amp is also MIDI-compatible, allowing for seamless integration with other MIDI-enabled devices for remote switching and effects control.
