An upgrade from the Mexican Standard, the Player Series features incredibly accessible and affordable models for guitarists of all levels. Featuring a comfortable 'Modern C' profile neck, Alnico 5 pickups and an Alder body, this guitar is a power house for those wanting to excel on stage, at home or in the studio!

Overview:

For this Player Series Stratocaster, Fender have utilised their iconic combination of Alder and Maple. An Alder body created a sonically balanced tone allowing the characteristics of the three single-coil pickus to shine through. The bolt-on Maple neck adds bright highs perfect for chimey chords and allowing lead lines to cut through.

The neck is purpose built for both traditional and contempory players by combining a Modern C neck profile with a satin urethane finish for a smooth and comfortable feel which allows players to easily glide all over the neck.

In true Fender style, this Player Stratocaster is equipped with three single-coil pickup to project that legendary tone. These Alnico 5 single-coil pickups project a more modern voice with a strong mid range whilst maintaining those classic chimey strat tones. 

Across the Player Series Strats, Fender has improved the bridge by implementing the 2-point tremolo. This bridge is usually seen on Fender's more expensive US made guitars providing increased tuning stability and smoother, more expressive action due to its low friction design.
