As part of Ibanez's popular SR series, the SR305E has been upgraded to answer the wider needs of many players. Equipped PDC pickups with exposed pole pieces, this bass has high output and more clarity than ever. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ features a 3-way power tap switch for access to 3 tonal options allowing for much more versatility. Alongside the upgrades all the great staples of the SR line are here, a smooth fast neck, lightweight body and superior comfortability. Ibanez keeps contributing a constant effort to improve the SR series making this model a truly impressive bass at a great price.

Overview:

The SR305E features an Accu-cast B120 bridge with extra-wide string slots to accommodate heavier gauges whilst the walls and channels of the bridge plate ensure perfect directional uniformity.

With exposed pole pieces, the PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups produce a stronger signal with an increased response of higher frequencies whilst retaining the low end. They provide rich tone with harmonic detail and dynamic expression.

The 3-band EQ works in conjunction with a coil tap switch for maximum control over a wide pallet of professional bass tones. Tap Mode (single coil) creates a punchy, dynamic sound with superior articulation. Series Mode (humbucking) delivers a full, warm tone, and Power Tap Mode provides the best of both worlds-combining the clarity of the single coil with the fat bottom end of the humbucker.
